Onset of the disease :  
occur during adolescence or early adult life. 
 
This disorder has a predominantly autosomal dominant mode of inheritance, 
although many sporadic cases (no evidence of inheritance) have been reported.
 
 
Most lesions of steatocystoma multiplex remain asymptomatic.
Some lesions may become inflamed, rupture.
 
   
The choice of treatment is surgical method.
(Removal of cyst content and cyst wall)
